Know More about Heat Sink

Brief Introduction
In terms of heat sink materials, each material has different heat conductivity. According to arrangement of heat-conducting property from high to low, they are, namely, silver, copper, aluminum, and steel. But if silver is used to make the heat sink, it will be too expensive. Aluminum is much cheaper, and it enjoys good thermal conductivity.
Commonly used material for heat sink is copper and aluminum alloy, both of which have their advantages and disadvantages. Thermal conductivity of copper is good, but it is more expensive, with higher processing difficulty, too large weight (the weight of many pure copper heatsink is over the limit to the weight of CPU), small thermal capacity and it is prone to oxidation. Pure aluminum is too soft so that it cannot be used directly. Aluminum alloy can provide sufficient hardness. Aluminum alloy has the advantage of low cost, light weight, but its thermal conductivity is a lot worse than copper. Some heat sinks take advantages of each other, embedding a piece of copper sheet on the aluminum heatsink extrusion base.
As far as ordinary users are concerned, using the aluminum heat sink has been sufficient to meet the thermal requirements.
Heat sink plays an important role in the composition of the radiator. Other than active cooling of fans, to judge whether a radiator is good or bad largely depends on the heat absorption capacity and heat conduction capacity of the heat sink itself.
Aluminum Extrusion Heat Sinks
Aluminum heatsink extrusion is a kind of excellent thermal dissipation materials widely used in modern heat dissipation. The industry most uses 6063 T5 aluminum, whose purity can reach more than 98%. It enjoys strong heat conduction capacity, low density, cheap price, and so it has been favored by the major aluminum formwork manufacturers. Consider basing on hot resistance and calorific value of Intel and AMD CPU, aluminum extrusion manufacturers develop corresponding molds, and heat aluminum ingots to a certain temperature, make its physical form changed, and then get various heat sink original material we want; after the cutting, cross cutting, polishing, burring, cleaning, and surface processing, it can be in use.
www.aluminiumsupplier.com.cn, formerly known as Guangdong Xingfa Aluminium Profile Factory, was established in 1984. As one of the earliest enterprises engaged in aluminum profile in Mainland China, the Company has become a famous and large-scaled enterprise specialized in production of aluminum profiles for both architecture and industry, with its yearly capacity of 150,000 tons. The Company is the production base for aluminum alloy designated by the Ministry of Construction of China, and it was awarded "No.1 of Top-Ten National Aluminum Profile Enterprises".
